ASID Design Competition

For more than two decades, the ASID Arizona North Chapter has given its Design Excellence Awards to members who have produced superlative interior designs during the previous years. In 32 stunning pages, Design & Architecture magazine celebrates the work of the very talented winners, who represent the best of Valley design. This year, the 1,000-member chapter received more than 90 entries-exceeding the number of any previous year. Nine members from a comparably sized chapter in Los Angeles judged the event. “The judges were very complimentary about the quality of work from our chapter,” says Sherry Hauser, chapter president. “We are fortunate to have very high standards in the Valley – which makes winning even more rewarding.” The awards comprise four categories: Residential, Contract, Product Design and Industry Partners Product Design. A Best of Show was named in the Residential and Contract categories. These two winners, as well as the other first-place winners, received ADAM trophies at the awards dinner held September 24 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Phoenix. Now, without further ado-we presnt the 2004 ASID Design Excellence Award winners.
