Designer Claire Ownby designed this island retreats living room with a seamless view to the exterior, enabling its owners to utilize it as a relaxing and spiritually renewing gathering space. Using Caribbean Koa hardwood for the interior floor and sapele wood and basalt for the furniture, Ownby commits to using indigenous materials that result in chic yet comfortable environments.
