Claire  is one of the most sought-after designers of luxury residential interiors and the founder of Ownby Design, LLC. Part designer, part innovator, part visionary, Claire draws inspiration from her studies, her extensive travels and her affinity for fine food and wine. With her unique fusion of minimalism and lavishness, Claire’s designs transform the spaces of everyday living into one-of-a-kind indulgences. Claire received her education in Interior Design from Arizona State University and Scottsdale Community College. While serving apprenticeships with Scottsdale-based residential and commercial design firms, Claire refined her talent and passion for luxurious interiors, and decided to start her own interior design firm in 1998. She specializes in modern minimalism aesthetic, with a keen eye for detail.  Her firm has received numerous awards from ASID and the Valley; the Ownby Design team has been recognized with numerous industry and community awards throughout the past several years for residential designs in both Arizona and the Hawaiian Islands.

Kelsey graduated Cum Laude, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, from the University of Alabama – school of Human Environmental Sciences. Kelsey, who grew up in Los Angeles, California, moved to Arizona upon receiving her design degree and joined the Ownby Design team shortly after. Kelsey’s passion for all facets of the interior design industry and attention to detail is well known among her peers and reflected in all of her client’s projects.

Lauren studied Architecture and Psychology at Arizona State University before obtaining her degree in interior design at Phoenix College. She began her career with Ownby Design over two years ago and has been a valued member of the design team ever since. Her passion for perfection, eye for detail, and talent for design are apparent in the refined interiors that she creates.

Denisse received a Bachelor of Arts from the Art Institute of Phoenix.  Her passion for design started at an early age coming from a family of designers, both in architecture and interiors.  She has experience with all phases of the design process from conceptual to installation. As a designer, her responsibilities include design development, computer aided design, purchasing, and material selection. Her creative thought process lends her to develop unique palettes for timeless interiors. Denisse draws on design inspiration from her travel experiences and her philosophy in design focuses on functionality with modern simplicity. She is an allied member of ASID.

Melanie is a graduate of Phoenix college where she studied interior design and merchandising. With a background and years of experience in the commercial design field, she brings a unique perspective to the Ownby design team. Her admiration of history and the arts influences her original design style.

Jenny earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Phoenix. Having grown up in Ireland gives Jenny a special appreciation for life, culture, and tradition. Since moving to the US, her adopted country has given her an appreciation for opportunity, design, and the arts. Her love for simplistic yet luxurious spaces reflects her design philosophy and goals.

Audrey grew up in Arizona and has lived there for 30 years. She has been with Ownby Design since 2011 as an Accounting and Human Resources manager. She graduated from University of Phoenix with her Bachelors in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf or just being outside with her family.
